After Dark Airbrush Tanning is a mobile, airbrush tanning service. We service northern New Jersey within Sussex, Morris and Warren county (as of June 2023). After Dark is best known for our natural-looking tans and specializing in bridal glows. After 10+ years in the industry, while being one of the most sought-out bridal airbrush companies in the tri-state area, as of August 2022, After Dark has transitioned to only accepting bridal appointments. This includes bridal trials, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, boudoir shoots, hair/makeup trials, wedding dress fittings, wedding tans, and honeymoons. Our expert airbrush artists come to your home to personally customize your airbrush tan using an all-natural solution. Never been airbrushed before? Don’t worry. Each of our certified airbrush artists will analyze your skin tone while keeping in the mind the color you are looking to achieve. Each of our artists is trained to ask about important wedding information to make sure you look your absolute best for your big day.
Our tent keeps the mess inside, and we are in and out in an hour. All our artists have been trained to airbrush quickly and thoroughly while educating our clients to keep their tan lasting long and looking natural.
OUR HISTORY
After Dark Airbrush Tanning was founded in September 2012 by Tracy (Gough) Birdsall who is the creator of After Dark and our number bridal specialist artist. With over 13 years of experience in the tanning industry, she specializes in giving you the healthy, beautiful bronze skin you are looking for in a matter of minutes. She’ll make you feel comfortable during the tan and looking and feeling great afterward.
Tracy began her career working for a major chain in the tanning world. She quickly became a master airbrush artist and gained several request clients to her credit. Because she is dedicated to building relationships based on trust and quality service, she eventually started her own tanning business, After Dark Airbrush Tanning, servicing all of NJ, NY, CT and PA, eventually narrowing down her travel locations and services to better suit our biggest clientele- bridal.
She is dedicated to offering every client the best customer service experience possible while giving a tan to be proud of without any adverse health risks. She handpicks her airbrush artist team to ensure superb skill and quality. After Dark airbrush artists go through extensive training and certification before being sent out to our customers; all are sure to leave you looking great and feeling comfortable. Tracy is also the lead bridal specialist, making sure all brides and members of your wedding party look their absolute best for their biggest day!

Our certified artists customize your tan by using After Dark's personally manufactured airbrush tanning solution, which will avoid any unwanted orange tints or residue. With our solution and specially picked artists, we are able to cater to everyone’s needs.
